Rated 5 out of 5 by Lightweight & durable I have worn these shoes on 2 trail runs already for a total of more than 16 miles and they met or exceeded every expectation I had. I had been wearing a regular pair of running shoes on the trail and now that I have tried these shoes it's night and day in how they perform on the trail. I really like the drain feature of this shoe, I don't have that squishy feeling after going through a stream. 4/17/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for Spartan I just ran a Spartan Race Super in Mexico and was very good, the drain system is outstanding Y run between mud and water and my feet stayed dry in seconds. You have more traction climbing mountains than the regular shoes. I used other shoes before, after Spartan Race I cannot use it anymore, this shoes can use it in other races without problem In surfaces like rocks or smooth plain surfaces are very slippery 4/7/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product has promise. Quite honestly, I had hoped for a better design. 1) Speed laces instead of "old school" laces. 2) Reinforced eyelets. I am concerned that the laces will tear through the vinyl material on the shoe body and tongue. 3) Sewn-in tongue instead of welded-in tongue. 4) Side support for the tongue. Without side support, the tongue will slide to the side while running. As an OCR shoe, this has promise but I don't think it's there yet. Great sole and drainage. I am just concerned, for the price, that the shoe will not last because of the points above. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by SPARTAN SUPER I purchased this shoe specifically for the demanding obstacles of the Spartan Super in Las Vegas and it performed well in the rough gravel terrain and through all the obstacles. I never felt any squishing after coming out of a water pit, and it provided great traction on all uphill and downhill runs. I didn't get the chance to break them in before the event but I didn't find that to be a problem. These shoes were comfortable from the beginning to the end. (9 miles) Once I finished the race, I washed them in the shower area and boy did they clean up quick and easy! Even the shoelaces!!! I am truly impressed! 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Did everything they said it would I just ran a Super Spartan and these shoes were bought for such events. It was great to see so many of them out on the course. They felt very nice and fit my foot well. I tend to have wide short feet and did not have any issues finding the right size. The only thing I feared with this shoe, was losing it in the mud. Well Las Vegas was a little dry so that test will have to wait till the Beast. The laces I thought might stretch or with the mud might not come untied when I wanted to take them off. But the whole dang shoe just worked so well. Super Comfy. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great idea, great shoe for OCR. I received shoes on Tuesday and wore in Los Angeles Tough Mudder on Sunday. The grip/traction in the mud, dirt, gravel and sand was great. I had to climb a lot, I mean a lot, of hills and descend down them also and I did not slip at all. The shoes are light and the drainage system for water was great. The water not only drained through the drainage system well but also out of the mesh. I also wore the shoes in a 4.6 mile trail run and they were extremely comfortable. Considering that this Tough Mudder was my 1st, a 10.3 mile course through all kinds of things, the shoes held up great. My only gripe was the I couldn't get traction to get up the Human Pyraimid Wall, but I was able to fly up Everest! 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded my expectations As I stated above, this shoe overall has exceeded my expectations! I tried out this shoes on different terrains and Im amazed on how comfortable they are! 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love These Arooooooo Just received these bad boys a few weeks ago upon release. Haven’t worn to a Spartan race just yet but I did brake them in on a few mountain training runs and they are all they are advertized to be. The real test will be in Miami next weekend for Spartan Super 8 miler, I am confident they will help me get to the finish line highly recommended. Arooooooo 4/5/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Feel like I can conquer any obstacle in these !!!! Love These Shoes !! Finally got these after MUCH anticipation ! First out of the box ... These shoes look sweet !! Strikingly vivid colors on the upper and sole of the shoe. ..... I went with the red and yellow .... I wore them around the house for a while to help soften them a little before I went for a test run ....First time I put them on I thought maybe they were a little big in the toe box ..this proved not to be the case when I got a few runs in them and they had a chance to conform to my foot and my foot had time to find is happy place in the footbed . My first run was straight to the beach to test the traction and drainage .... water drained out quickly as promised and traction is superb ...... shoes are very light and airy ( I think they actually help keep my feet cooler ) So far so good ....... I have been training daily in my new AT Supers and can't wait to put them through the REAL test in Miami next week !!!......... I love these shoes !!!! Thank You Reebok and Spartan Racing !!!!!!! 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by The shoes totally met my expectations as far as what they were designed to do and are very comfortable. I have a narrow size 14 foot and the shoes are just a little big because there was no half size below and the toe is a little wide. Both have nothing to do with te shoe just that they weren't that great of a fit for me. 4/2/14

Rated 4 out of 5 by Worth if for Obstacle Runs I've been using these shoes for 3-4 weeks now and I've conducted 3 tests for the shoe, with a score between 1-5. 1st Test - Flat Surface Run. Here I give the shoe a 3..5. I supinate when running and there wasn't sufficient cushioning for my gait and after 3 miles I began to "feel" the run. At the time of this test, it was the very first run I the shoe. With more running times, it takes longer before I "feel" the run. On my last 7 mile flat run I began to have that sensation around mile 6. 2nd Test - Crossfit Training Session. Here I give the shoe a solid 4.5. Why not a 5? As I was performing Burpees, Mt. Climbers and similar exercises, I found the shoe didn't grip as much as I would have liked. 3rd Test - Water/Terrain. Here I give the shoe a 5. Ran in & out of water followed by Rock climbs and similar obstacles found in a races. The shoe performed as expected, the water drained quickly out of the shoe, along with any earth and traction/grip was maintained.. Overall I give the shoe a 4.5 and would recommend it for Obstacle Course Races. I look forward to putting them through their final test when I run The Florida Super Spartan this weekend. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing shoe for a Spartan run. This shoe exceeded all my expectations. Even though I could have stood a half size smaller, it excelled all day at Charlotte Sprint at Porter Farms. I will not run another Spartan without this shoe. Worth every penny. 3/30/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Off Road Monsters Wow!!! I have owned many sneakers, but these are perfectly designed for getting down and dirty. I love the superior grip and the holes to allow water to escape. These are real winners. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unstoppable Finally received my All Terrain Supers on Wednesday and ran my 1st Spartan Sprint on Sunday in the rain. Totally blown away on how much traction I was getting as I passed everyone going up and down the muddy hills. The water ports worked awesome even with the amount of mud throughout my shoes. The shoes did feel a little long, I probably should have ordered a half size smaller but never had a problem with my shoes wanting to pull off or feeling loose in the heel. If you run obstacle races, you need to get a pair of Supers. Reebok did it again by building another great purpose driven shoe. 3/25/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoe, Very glad I bought them I competed in my first obstacle race this past saturday 3/22/14. I was nervous & excited at the same time. I heard about these shoes online & ordered them as soon as possible. Getting these shoes made all the difference in the world. From the very first water obstacle, other people were jokingly complaining about having to run with 5 pound shoes for the rest of the race. These shoes were completely drained within my first 3 steps out of the water. Im not kidding. Later on in the race, we had another water obstacle and since we were one of the last waves to go, the bank on the other side was completely slick, at about a 45-60 degree angle. Nothing but slick mud. The guy behind me couldnt get out of the water, he was yelling at his friend to come help. He had zero traction on the mud bank. I turned around, gripped in with my cleats, and pulled him right out. I'll never run an obstacle race without these shoes. I HIGHLY recommend them,. Thanks Reebok !!! 3/24/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by runs 1/2 size long but feels purpose built for OCR Total anticipation until the box arrived and pleasantly surprised to see a very purpose built OCR shoe. The water channels appear in the perfect locations, and the abrasive toe cover will be useful for some toe protection. The cleats are of a soft enough material they actually grip on very slick material like tile. I wear a 9.5 mens in just about everything: Width was spot on and felt my heal lock into place with a good kick , rest of foot very comfortable in shaped insoles, but it was definitely a half size too long allowing foot to slide out of heal plate and move front to back. With a bit of experience trying to make a slightly large shoe work and receiving poor results along with tortured feet, I will not be using these for my fast approaching race. Sadly they had to be returned and this review must stop short. I would like to finish this review with a race trial in a men size 9 but no one can seem to locate any. 3/26/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Good Shoe Shoes arrived Thursday, wore the shoes all day Friday to race the Spartan Sprint on Saturday in Charlotte. I replaced the shoe strings with the Lock Laces because that is what I use for street running. This is the only thing I changed. Course was muddy and I had less issues than those in OTHER shoes even trail shoes. I like them and learned a lot about them. Shoes drain well and had a lot of traction where others were slipping. Need to wear them tighter as there was a little heel slip however I feel this was due more to them being brand new. Will definitely use them in October at the Carolina Spartan Beast. Will wear longer sock next time because I rubbed the back of my heel raw which is probably not cause by the shoe per say but my choice of socks. 3/27/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Trouble from the Start Like everyone I immediately bought into the hype of a Spartan specific shoe. I logged onto Reebok.com on March 16, noticed that the shipping date was March 17, and immediately ordered too excited to care about the high price. I assumed if it was such an amazing shoe it would be worth the price. After all, you can't put a price on quality. By Match 19 I still had not received a shipping confirmation so I called Reebok. A very nice customer service rep informed me that the release date was pushed back to April 1. I was planning on racing April 5 at the Vegas Spartan Super and wanted to break in the shoes before racing. When I asked why the date was pushed back she informed me the shoes were not yet manufactured. I wasn't buying that excuse. After speaking to 3 supervisors in 3 departments someone finally "found" a pair and they were shipped out over night. As far as the shoe...it's comfortable, fit true to size, and I was left blister-free post race. All good thing!! However the shoe did not perform as expected on the obstacles. I slipped on the walls and could feel every stone I stepped on. Perhaps it was due to the terrain difference (the Vegas race was in a dry gravel out as opposed to most races in mud and water). Either way I was disappointed from the beginning. Hopefully others had better experiences. 4/9/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by All terrain super - big guy I picked these up a month before the Las Vegas Super Spartan race. I am 6'4" and weight 250#. The fit well, a little large in the toe box, I wear a size 14 shoe. They are comfortable and felt good during the race, great gripping on the hills, sand and mud. Water draining was good. They do collect a fair amount of small rocks and fine sand, but nothing more than all the other shoes out there. I will be adding a thicker sole insert due to my weight, as these are designed for lighter folks. They are very light and gripped very well. Recommended to others looking for a good race shoe with good bite on the walls, hills and muck. 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Runner Approved I had read all the preview reviews I could find out there, but I still had inklings when I ordered these. With a 5k obstacle course run through mud, climbing, crawling, and a good bit of running, I wanted to break them in quickly. I was unable to get on the trails before the race, but I wore them for three 2-hour ultimate frisbee practices with them. While the shoes weren't built like cleats, they held up with good traction on the turf. Finally on Saturday, I did my obstacle course run and they worked perfectly. It had been raining all week, so the drainage really had the opportunity to be showcased. I can't wait to do my longer OCRs and see just how well these were designed. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Order your true size! I read on another website to order the Spartan Super a half size big. DON'T do it! I ordered a size 11.0 in blue from Reebok to test the other company's advice and it fit exactly like an 11.0 on my size 10.5 dogs. Sent them back a couple weeks ago with absolutely no guff. Last night, I hopped on Reebok.com and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a size 10.5 in the Red/Yellow Super! Reebok has already refunded the first pair and the second shipped today. I am stoked to get these and start training for real in some sloppy conditions in preparation for a Spartan Beast in June! 4/14/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by An undeniable 10/10. Absolutely the best OCR/Terrain shoe out there. In an OCR shoe, one looks for many things. It must be light, it must be water-resistant, it must be sturdy & protective, and it must have good tread to conquer any terrain. This has all of them, and it is amazingly comfortable- to the point where if you run on concrete, it feels like you're floating. If you run on mountain terrain (intended purpose), it doesn't hurt your feet at all. Great shoe, definitely my new shoe for all Elite Spartan races. 3/27/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong Shoe I normally do not do these but I felt that I needed to for this shoe. I wore this shoe in some sloppy conditions this past weekend during Savage Race and it performed really well. I was able to get grip in some of the worst mud while other contestants were slipping and falling all around me. When we had to wade through water the shoes worked perfectly. You could feel them fill up and then drain out within minutes of exiting the water. They did not impress me on a steep angle of plywood that we had to run up but that may have been operator error so we will see this weekend when I use them again for Mud Endeavor. 4/1/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great base model on which to build Drainage, rock guards, traction and overall design prove to be a great product in the making. The initial fit of this shoe seemed uncomfortable owing to the high, inflexible, overly curved backs and a improperly placed standard lacing with cheap laces. But the rest of the shoe is near perfect. Lower the backs and use a more forgiving material without sacrificing strength and align the lacing to that of a brooks pure flow 2 and you have the perfect OCR shoe. 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Performs well in rough terrain, some fit issues. Overall these shoes are great, like most people buying I plan to use them for Spartan Race. I tested them out on a 1/2 marathon trail run that was decently wet and muddy due to recent rain. The shoes held up well through puddles and creeks, steep hills and downgrades, packed dirty and mud, smooth rocks and paved roads. Water drainage, support, and protection from rocks was great. They run a bit narrow, so keep that in mind. Also, the back rides high and cups your Achilles which can also result in some significant rubbing, I'll be spending at least a week waiting for the skin to patch up on both feet. Recommend wearing high rising socks or taping up your ankles to prevent this. 4/2/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what they say they are SPARTAN READY Been in the market for shoes that would hold up to the demand of obstacle / mud runs. I saw the video and felt compelled to grab a pair. At first impression they are lighter than all the other shoes I have tried which is very nice. The light material looks and feels very durable which is also very nice. Like all new shoes break them in a bit before taking on that 5 or 10k. If you aren't used to running in these shoes, or style of running shoe, you need to know how it will effect your muscles. Overall very happy with the purchase, love the shoes and recommend them to everyone who is in the market for a shoe. 4/2/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by As Advertised After very little break in time, the shoes were comfortable and responsive. The aggressive tread provides plenty of grip on the trail and good enough grip to use as a road runner. After going through a 10mi mud run, the shoes preformed as advertised. Water shed very quickly and obstacles such as walls and beams were nicely gripped by the toe cleat and mid sole. The cleats in particular gave an added sense of forward propulsion off road that I've only found in dedicated sport shoes (baseball, football, soccer cleats etc). Afterwards, the shoes washed off nicely, and though they still look like they've been through a torture test. They also look like they handled it with flying colors and are ready for round two. 4/15/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Handles whatever I have thrown at it Got these shoes because I am an avid participant in mud/obstacle races and got tired of having to throw out shoes that couldn't survive the rigors of the events. These shoes are great. I have used them in mud, sand, dirt, on rocks, and even on trails. They are supremely comfortable and my traction is always incredible. The upper kind of bows out on the outside of the foot when laced, but I presume that is the cost of having such a light yet stiff material. They clean off really easily, and definitely hold their own in whatever element they're put into. I can't say enough good things about them. AROO 4/1/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall good but lacking The shoe color and design awesome. I was most surprised with the H2O drain after running through shin high water in a matter of steps all the water was gone and my foot felt relatively dry. Occasionally mud would get stuck I'm the ports but again after a few good steps the mud cleared right out. My biggest grief with the shoes is the traction/grip on the walls is horrible! You expect that with a trail shoe with lugs that big but when you advertise as it getting good grip on walls and in reality your foot just slips right down the wall, and leaves you to straight jumping over an 8ft wall gets tiring. Although I rather give up wall traction to have dry feet but to get both would make this show AMAZING ! 4/6/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by I HAD HIGHER EXPECTATIONS ... I just competed in the Las Vegas Super. I'm working on my third tri-fecta just to give you an idea of how often i do spartan races... I had really high expectations for these shoes. They said they where spartan approved, however i had a different experience. Given that the terrain was very rocky and had lots of sand and dirt, 4 times during the race i had to remove my shoes because they filled up with rocks, and little gravel that got under my feet. The low cut design allowed my shoes to keep filling up with stuff, especially trough the sides. After the obstacle called " the gamble " (around mile 4), three other people all wearing these same shoes where doing exactly what i was... Removing them to empty all the gravel that got inside... it was pathetic!!! I'm still going to give these shoes one more chance in another setting. The Monterey BEAST is just around the corner. Granted, i understand that reebok, is not going to get it right the first time around. so hopefully they take into account these little details that would make these shoes truly AWSOME. 4/8/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Back to the drawing board First off I was extremely excited for this shoe and wanted to try it out at a Super I signed up for. Going into my purchase I know Reebok goes narrow with their shoes but I had high hopes I would have a better experience since there was no extra widths. So I got my pair in and after taking them out of the box and laced them up. I was a bit let down on the fit because since my wide foot the laces laced up and pulled the midsole up weird around my foot. I tried not to feel discouraged because I knew I had time to break in my shoes. Once I got out to the trails I noticed the shoe gives a weird rubbery 'ffflip' sound when you walk or run. I can't tune this out because I'm a runner who doesn't run with music so again I think to myself it'll work itself out in time. Oh and the shoe also gave me a blister on my Achilles tendon. So day 2 I tried the shoe again but with same dissatisfaction and made up my mind I had to send them back. This was my experience but I'm sure there are others out there very satisfied with their purchase. I just hope Reebok can sell this shoe with wide feet people in mind and maybe work out the rubbery floppy sound as well. 4/9/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reebok all terrain supers Got these to use on spartan races this year and so far have been pleased with them. The tread is great and quite grippy mud doesn't seem to adhere to it and drops off easily. The drainage holes are great. Love knowing that as I come out water obstacles, they'll drain quickly. I hate running in squishy shoes. They are not too heavy either. I usually buy a little bigger for these types of shoes to keep from blistering my toes. These feel a little big and slightly narrow but neither affect the overall comfort of the shoe. If there is a bad, it'd be that the uppers feel "plasticy" when you step. Like you can feel the material bending. Guess that's why they're water resistant though. Great shoe! 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good for obstacles & running. I've used these shoes for obstacles similar to Spartan Sprint obstacles and they did well. I couldn't 'grab' the rope as well as I had hoped when rope climbing, but that may be due to my lack of experience. I also have run on leafy, rocky, and muddy trails and they did very well. Haven't put myself through deep muddy water yet, so cannot comment on that. I'm no spring chicken (but as was said in Spam-a-Lot, "not dead yet!") and have always had weak ankles. I'm also an EMT and volunteer fire fighter so I cannot afford to sprain my ankles (or worse), so any shoe I use for terrain running has to be solid. So far my Supers have met those expectations. So I'm looking forward them working magic at the Sprint in Indy 4/6/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Suggestions/Upgrade to shoe I wore the shoes for first time over the weekend on 7 mile Trail run and they held up well and comfortable to run in... will be running in Spartan Super this coming weekend and may have further thoughts, but off the bat - only thing I would suggest is the shoelace system should be a bit different. These shoelaces cannot be "tucked into" anything - similar to what many trail running shoes can do these days - and I can envision the laces getting "caught" on the barbwire or similar during a Spartan Race, which would be quite disappointing considering they are being marketed as the "Spartan" shoe. Definitely looking forward to utilizing the shoe in several Spartan events the remainder of the year! 3/31/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by Big shoes to fill Shoe looks/feels like football shoe: light, water jets good, traction great but shoe size is issue. Shoe is too big and should be fitted by Reebok to correct size + needs better ankle support. I tried using ankle brace but that let in tiny rocks. I tried larger sock and fitment good but still trapped little rocks. Still puzzled by odd black scuff marks on driveway while testing shoes. Overall kept shoes for upcoming Hard Charge/Tough Mudder, as needed new pair. I would not recommend these for those with ankle issues and recommend Rebook change to one size smaller size. 4/7/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by THe shoe held up well but takes on a lot of sand and rocks. I had to stop several times to dump out debris. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product meeting a unique need I just ran this shoe through the event in which it was named after and I think they did a great job of making an obstacle course shoe. Many times on the course I saw people sliding up and down hills or on muddy pools, none of that affected me at all. I could stop on a hill, run through any muddy pools; they are like baseball cleats that drain all the water moments after you exit the water. They have aggressive traction that does make me wary of wearing them for anything other than off-road obstacle course races as I don't want to wear down my tread unnecessarily. 4/7/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too Narrow Had to Return Unfortunately I was unable to wear these shoes; I found them to be extremely narrow. I am a regular participant in obstacle races and have run 6 tough mudders in 3 years as well as the "Walking Dead Experience" race. I did all but one of these races in New Balance minimus shoes and was extremely satisfied. However, when I saw the promotion material for these shoes circulating through the various OCR groups I follow on the internet I was super excited and I love to experiment with new gear. My feet are slightly on the wide side but I have never in my life had to purchase "wide" sized shoes. When my Reebok Terrain Supers arrived I found them to be far too narrow and could barely get my foot into them. Once I did the sides of the tongue gaped exposing my foot and my foot was far outside the footprint of the sole. The shoes looked great and I certainly would have loved to race in them and put them through their paces but I simply couldn't . My advice is if you have a wide or even slightly wide foot avoid this shoe; unless such a time as they offer a "wide" version as I said I've never had to buy "wide" shoes and these were just too narrow for me. Now I have purchased a new pair of NB Minimus in a regular width and they fit just fine. I hope one day I will be able to try these shoes too. 4/7/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Do not buy into the hype After running in the Vegas Super Spartan 9+mile and a 6 mile training trail run plus a few boot camp classes I feel I can give a truthful review of the Reebok All terrain shoe. Also I have 5 friends who also rushed out to get this shoe and I will relay what they said. My first impression out of the box was wow, great looking, lite weight and fit was perfect. Shoe looked like it would handle the trails and mud fantastic. First day at my obstacle course boot camp, felt great running on pavement, comfortable slick on smooth concrete but very slippery on walls like a 8'. The shoe was no help getting over walls, started to worry me about Spartan race but knowing that it is mostly running and a shoe is a tool the trade off might be fine. At the 6 mile trail run the shoe felt real good, I ran a little faster time than the previous run two weeks prior (not the same shoe) even though I did not feel as well while running. The lugs gripped the loose gravel great down hill and felt right going up hill. I did get a blister on my heal. Noticed the tongue slipping way over exposing my entire sock but had to adjust the tongue several times. AT the LV Super Spartan the shoe was great in mud, felt good on the rocky miles we ran and was fine on most obstacles while knowing I would have issues with the walls and I did. The shoe does fit loose letting rocks and sand in the shoe more than it should even though I used the extra lace hole that does help! I am sure most racers had some issue with rocks and sand at this event but I saw more than a few wearing the Reebok spartan shoe stopping to empty rocks and sand. My friend I ran with only had to empty because I did, she would have been fine. She shoe lace is very lite and hard to untie so stopping 3 time was a pain. As for my 5 other friends who bought the shoe (I run with a hard core group our team came in second at this event) only 1 was happy with the shoe. I really do not think the shoe will hold up well, the material is almost see through and I can see issues already! I did do a pre-order from Reebok so that is why I was able to get the shoe so early. I would say if you like a minimal shoe (5mm drop) you might like the shoe. Like I said they did feel nice running but with all the shortcoming's these shoes and being hyped as the SPARTAN shoe I can only give them a 2 star. They will be on e-bay while I look for a better shoe. 4/11/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by feels like a running shoe grips like a hiking shoe I'm in training for the Spartan race, been looking for the perfect shoe and found this one. It was sold out in my size for four weeks, but I checked daily and found it came along late one night so I bought it immediately. Other reviews indicated that the shoe ran a half size too long, I'm typically an 11.5 in a sneaker, so I bought a size 11. I have been training in the shoe for about a week now and the shoe fits perfectly, feels comfortable, and looks great too. I have been trail running with the shoe several times now and like the way it grips the trail and provides traction in all directions. It is light yet feels durable. The laces stay tied even with a single knot, and I can feel air flowing through the shoe keeping my foot cool. Haven't gotten them wet yet, but I am quite pleased with the show so far. 4/18/14

Rated 3 out of 5 by A great start but needs some fine tuning I was super excited to see these shoes come out. I have been participating in mud runs for a few years now, and I tried several types of shoes none of them meeting all my needs. I recently ran 2 laps of the Tough Mudder in Phoenix AZ with them so I really put them to the test with 24 miles of mud, and they were great in some areas, but had one fatal flaw From top to bottom: They fit well, I normally wear a size 12, I feel like I could have done with an 11.5 in these but they were comfortable none the less. They were very light comparable to some minimalist shoes I have run in, and gave great support and comfort and the water drained out of them quickly (at first... I will explain later) They had great traction on all types of surfaces throughout the race. I would say this was the best feature of the shoes. OK, the down side: The only real complaint that I have is that when you are running (specifically when you are on your toes with your foot flexed) there are large gaps between the tongue and the sides of the shoes. This allowed a lot of mud and relatively large rocks (up to 1/4 inch in diameter) to get inside the shoes. This had 3 major effects. 1) sand and mud clogged up the drain holes for water so they stopped draining. 2) mud and sand got built up under my toes making them very uncomfortable 3) At least 10 times over the course of the race i got large rocks stuck on the top and sides of the shoes and I would have to either remove the shoes to get them out or stick my finger in the hole between the tongue and the side of the shoe to dig them out. If Reebok finds a way to eliminate those gaps between the tongue and the side of the shoe (maybe more lace holes closer together or maybe a thin stretchy fabric behind the tongue that stops sand and rocks from going through) these shoe will be perfect. 4/9/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wore this on a Warrior Dash mud run. Was perfect, great traction and came clean!! Can't wait to test them out on a Spartan Race. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by this product was amazing Once I received the all-terrain Reebok's I started wearing them every day, just to break them in. Wearing them to the gym or to run on hard flat surfaces was not exciting, but once I wore them trail running I was very amazed with the quality and performance of the product. The grip on steep uphill was great, the rock guard kept pebbles from getting stuck , and the h20 drains emptied the water almost instantly. Can't wait to wear them to the Killington , Vermont Spartan Beast world championship! 4/15/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Well thought out but not executed very well I wore my Reebok All Terrain Supers yesterday for a 6.5 mile trail race at Mountain Creek, where the NJ Super Spartan is held. They were very light and comfortable. I do think they run a half size big though since I wear a 10.5 for most shoes and could have used a 10 for these. I tied them very tight prior to the race, but found they were constantly loosening while running. I've never had to stop and re-tie my shoes so much during a race. The drainage ports worked great and they shed water very quickly. but the ports that let the water out, also let water in, so when running through puddles or shallow brooks where my feet normally wouldn't get wet, they got wet. Dirt and debris also worked its way in through the ports, so I had to stop from time to time to empty my shoes out. A positive is the inserts stayed put. On steep declines, I've had issues with the inserts working their way to my toes with other shoes, but these did not budge. After the race, I examined the shoes and there were already areas of wear, where my feet started to break through, making my socks visible. Another racer used the Sprints and his feet busted completely through. The perforated tongue was a great feature. I would recommend the All Terrain Supers for light terrain, but not for terrain where you will be constantly go over rocks, through brooks, and lots of off trail running. This particular course used very little trails and incorporated lots of rough terrain. It's clear that Reebok and Spartan Race put a lot of thought into these shoes to address the needs of obstacle course racers, but the execution can use some improvement. Hopefully they will get better in the coming years. 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great so far Just got these Supers two weeks ago and haven't really tested them. I've only put 4-5 miles of trail running on them, and they've done fine so far. They are light and comfortable. They've been great in the small amount of mud or loose sand. There are a few large, flat rocks on my trail that are usually wet...I lose traction on those and slip a little. I'll run the Spartan Sprint in Mississippi in November so I'll try to post again after that. 4/18/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Performed as advertised Just did the Miami Spartan yesterday. Hadn't had the chance to break them in before the race. The missus also bought a pair for the race. The low rise cleats worked really well and we had no problems navigating the trails and obstacles. Extremely light too - comparable to the Real Flex that I typically run with. I did end up with some small rocks in my shoes a few times that I had to take out but that has happened to me with any pair of shoes at these events. The only con would be the firmness of the heel. It just felt a little firm after 5 miles. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Oh - the water drainage really works!!! I was curious to see if it would actually work well. First review I have ever left - we are that satisfied!!! Now, on how to clean the things well..... 4/13/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great on Trails, Horrible on Walls I was very excited to try my new AT Supers at a Local race this past weekend (4/5/14). The Supers were great on the trail and mud, but were terrible on the obstacles. There was no traction at all on the walls, and other wooden obstacles. After reading the reviews by the Spartan Elite Racers I thought for sure these would be great. After speaking to every racer who ran this past weekend, every agreed, great trail shoe but lacks grip on obstacles. I think its sad because many of us bought this shoe blind and are not regretting it. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this shoe and would like it in blue! Very comfortable running terrain from mud to snow to woodchips to crushed stone to grass to sand and cement as well as, elevation! I feel as if I could put down some serious miles in these reebok terrain shoes. These shoes drain very nicely as well feel stable under water! They never feel as if the going to fall off Looking forward to really giving them a go at my first obstacle race of this year in about a month and a half. Our team of 4 will be escorting 44 newbies through a 6 km obstacle course. Very excited about my new Reebok Super! 4/4/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by this is a great shoe I really like this shoe. the traction is great, the color scheme is nice, its really light and it has great functional use for my future Spartan runs. the only problem for me is that it runs narrow. i'm keeping it cuz I really like the shoe but it ends up losing a couple points because the comfort of it is not really up to par. I put this shoe to the test here at runyon and my feet hurt on the sides from it being narrow and on the bottom from lack of cushion. honestly, those factors are the only reason that I don't give this shoe a 5 star rating. 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by A valid contender for mud racing Ok. So here is my official review of my Reebok All Terrain Supers. Today I used them at the Irvine Lake Mud Run. I am going to start with all the positives. Within 2 minutes off the start, we were in mud soup. As we exited the muddy water I was amazed how the water exited out the drain holes at the sole. So drainage got an A+ The whole course was one mud pit and puddle after another (something like 30 something obstacles) I had absolute traction on every hill, path, wall, and moat. So traction got A+ Our group decided to enjoy the mud run, so we jogged then walked, the jogged again. (Always ran up the hills) <-- That's how we roll! To draw some comparisons, the cushioning was more than Inov-8 X-Talons and Trailrocs but less than Adidas Kanadias or New Balance 610s. So comfort for running got an A+ After hanging on the "monkey bars" waiting for someone to get off the last bar... Lol I finally got the last bar and dropped. I felt every bit of shock up my shins and knees. Probably had more to do with how I landed but I give them a B- on impact Now the negatives (for me) Unlike the low rise of the Inov-8s that I am used to, the back of the Reebok's ride high on the Achilles. By the end of the 3.8 miles, I noticed a little bit of friction. No blisters or anything like that but for me that is a negative. D The shoelaces are absolute garbage! Throw them out immediately. F Toe box on the Supers is big if you have narrow feet. I foresee big problems on the Traverse wall with these. Get the "Sprints" they are much more snug. F So there you have it. I now own both the Sprints and the Supers. I prefer the Sprints because of my feet. But the Supers are a tad higher quality. 4/1/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by Definitely for trail... not for road I've only used these twice, so take this for what it is worth. I decided to break these in before my super spartan at the end of the week. First run I did a 6 mile mostly on the road. Lets just say these weren't comfortable. 2nd run was a 2 mile through a mountain bike trail. They felt like they performed much better. Better grip throughout the rocky terrain. I did notice that they don't have the best ankle support, but it is a low rise shoe. I haven't made my decision on whether to lace these up over my Reebok ONE Cushion Trail. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Field tested in rain mud - excellent performance! I have been to the Tough Mudder and Spartan Beast, the mud really slowed me down, lost a shoe in the mud , it rained and I slipped all day. I field tested the All Terrain in a rain storm, performance was outstanding. In the mud they didnt slip, the shoes fits me like a glove no sliding inside the shoe as well. They are very light and sturdy. I am purchasing for my family who are joining me on the Spartan Beast in June. In the field when fatigue sets in, you need every advanatge you can get, the All Terrain gives me that, thanks! 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by New shoe performs well Wore this shoe for first time today at LV super. Generally pleased with it"...provided good traction where needed, felt good on rope climb. Course was very gravelly and ended up with lots of gravel in shoe but no problems created. Only few water obstacles so hard to evaluate that side of things. Only complaint is I think the shoe needs a bit of additional underfoot protection against sharp rocks etc. I ended up with one sole of my feet quite bruised from the pounding over so much sharp gravel. 4/5/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Spartan All Terrain Over all this was a great shoe, worked great on all of the natural obstacles, throught the mud, water, hills and pretty much all nature can throw at you. They dried out really fast which was great and the mud doesn't stayed attached to the shoes very long, which is great. They worked great on the rope climb with the grip on the inside of the shoes. Only down side I came across was on some of the man made wooden obstacles but over all the best shoe I ran with in all of my obstacle races!! 4/6/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great OCR shoes! I was under no illusions that this shoe would be magic and help me do things I couldn't do. I knew my limits. However, this shoe helped me complete obstacles I knew I could do easier. I missed 2/22 at the Vegas super spartan. They didn't enhance my rope climbs, but they totally helped with my walls! They do run small, so get at least half a size bigger. 4/15/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great traction I bought the shoes for an upcoming obstacle race. I have been training in them, but only had used them on a soccer field. I had a chance to run a 5K cross country so I decided to try them out in the race. The traction was great! I never felt my feet slip on anything and I really just did not worry with it. Looking forward to using them in the OCR in 3 weeks. 4/15/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Did not let me down once The shoes fit perfect and performed beyond what I expected. I used them for the Super Spartan Race 2014 in Miami, and they did not let me down once. Mud, Rocks, Wood, Rain, slick terrain, up walls, you name it, these shoes dominated. They also vent out water very quickly. These shoes are unmatched by any other when it comes to all terrain shoes. period. 4/15/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awsome The sneakers are great! Water drains quick, incredible traction, really light. Also easy to clean. 4/20/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great lightweight I enjoyed the lightweight of these shoes as well as the ability to drain water and not stay soaked as I ran. I found three issues that came up while running: 1. The laces that they came with were short 2. The shoe opening let in a lot of dirt and rocks. I would like a way to tightening the opening around my foot. 3. I developed a blister on my achilles heel. I also spoke to others wearing these shoes and they also had blisters on the same place. 4/7/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Drained well and held up Tested this recently at the Spartan Sprint. It drained well as advertised and held up for this short distance mud run. Wasn't the most comfortable shoe as I didn't expect it to be a minimalist shoe in design. Unless I missed that in the description it should be noted on the sales page. I always lean towards shoe with more support. For the race I had to purchase inserts to make up for minimalist features. Not really knowing if I should use these in the longer Super and Beast races this year. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by New shoe, new type of running for me I am relatively new to the OCR scene and have enjoyed this shoe immensely. I have experience with zero-drop shoes from powerlifting and these seem to strike a nice balance between a minimalist shoe and a full street runner. I use them barefoot and the only suggestion I might offer is that the the tongue might have a better way to stay centered. It does not bunch up or cause problems but after the first mile it does seem to stray off center a bit. Truly minor issue though, overall these are great. 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Must break in first I purchased these mainly because of the tread and the drainage feature. I run mud runs often and those are the two biggest issues with trail running shoes. These GRIP and DRAIN very well! They are a bit narrow; not as narrow as Nikes but more narrow than Adidas but I also have a wider foot than normal. The backs of the shoe are tall and could rub on your ankle if you have a low ankle. Also, the sole seems to be missing something on the inside of the foot. All this in mind, they work great! I wore them around the house for a couple hours at a time and for a couple of weeks before I used them. My ankle on my left side got used to it and the soles broke in well. now, they fit like a glove and do exactly what they are supposed to do. bottom line.....best mud run shoe out there.........AROOOO 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far I'm impressed I am doing the Super Spartan in April and decided to buy these shoes after doing my research and reading a lot of reviews. They are very light, fit great and are really cool looking! I've been training in them for the last couple weeks and so far I really like them. I have not gotten my feet wet or muddy yet but I'm sure they will perform. I've been running on the street and even though they don't offer as much cushion as running shoes I have no complaints. To be continued post Super Spartan! 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome shoe for any terrain Shoe is just amazing. Thought I was going to be just another all terrain shoe that cakes mud on the bottom and get stuck in your tracks but I was wrong the grips are separated just enough for the mud not to do so. I would pay another pair just cause there awesome but that's the only thing I got against the shoes is the big whoppin price tag. this is America we are not rich people come on reebok help us out with the price tag. But really overall great shoe for the mud runs or trail running 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this shoe... I embarqued on a journey to lose weight & get in shape about 8 months ago. I'm 58 and weighed 249 lbs. at the time. I signed up for a Spartan Sprint (May 10th, 2014# which gives me a deadline! I couldn't run 1/4 mile without being out of breath & legs burning. I've slowly worked up to 4 miles by running a horse trail with lots of hills, small creeks, & varied terrain. Today I weigh 200 lbs. I've lost considerable fat & gained considerable muscle. The day I ordered these shoes I called Spartan Race to switch to the elite heat #maybe I can learn something#. I've now trained in my Reebok All Terrain Supers for 3 weeks and love them. As advertised, water drains right out, grip is very good, & being slightly narrower than my other shoes #Inov-8 ) they don't let my foot slide around. These are definitely my competition shoes! 4/1/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by Trifecta Super This shoe did not meet my expectations. I felt the shoes did not protect the bottom of my feet while running on rocky terrain. The lugs designed to grip the rope failed miserably. I never felt that I truly ever had traction on the rope climb. The tongue kept sliding to the side. The shoe did provide good traction on the hills and thats really the only positive except the ease of cleaning. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply must have for OCR I pre-ordered my all-terrain supers and they arrived a few days after the official release date. The next day I took them to the Top Secret Spartan Training Facility at the undisclosed location for testing. The shoes performed above and beyond my expectations. Great traction on any terrain or obstacle and the water drain ports are sheer genius. Elite Spartan Racers helped to design these shoes and it shows. Proof? Watch for Reebok's competition try to copy them. 4/1/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent traction and grip. Wore these in the 2014 Carolina Spartan Sprint, which was the muddiest Spartan race I've done. They gave great traction and grip throughout the race. Only issue I had was loosing both shoes in the mud after the rope climb. They probably would have stayed on, but I did not use the very top set of holes for the laces. They seem to run a little narrow, but open up enough in the toes to make a good fit for me. 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing shoe, worth every penny So I purchased my all terrain supers and was fortunate enough to test them out this past weekend at the savage race in dade city and these shoes blew my mind. Personally, the shoe was a perfect fit, not too wide and not too tight The traction was unbelievable as I would fly through mud with ease and climb over walls with incredible grip. I was in and out of water obstacles throughout the race and not once did I ever feel weighed down. The water drained super fast and practically never held any water. I highly recommend them for anyone getting into obstacle course racing whether its for sport or fun. The only CON I can personally think of however is that if you wear socks that are too low the shoes could eat up the back of your heels with some calluses. Other than that, these shoes are absolutely perfect for obstacle course racing. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for everything I bought this shoe because I thought it would be a better fit for the trail than my old running shoes. I was right on so many levels. This thing never loses traction. I mean never. I've been on snow, mud, wet boulders, loose shale, everything going full tilt. And at no point was I uncomfortable with my cornering ability. The tread's held up well so far (no visible wear after several weeks of running) and it handles the elements well. Worth the buy. 4/1/14

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tough for any obstacle mud run! I bought these mostly on instinct to use for a tough mudder run! I must say these shoes are awesome! They went on super clean and after all the mud/rocks/etc. I hosed them down and they still look brand new! They performed above my expectations and I will be running many more mud runs like the Spartan Race series with the confidence that his shoe will get me through with the toughest of trails, mud, water, and obstacles! 4/3/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by i run the mountain by my house a few times a week and these shoe have no problem taking the abuse. there comfortable when i m done with my runs i feel like i can go another couple miles. i who highly recommend these shoe to anyone. the only thing i don't like about them is the laces every time i put them one i fell like the going to cut through the shoe. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by One minor issue I used the shoes at the Las Vegas Super Spartan Race and I liked them a lot. They drained water well and gripped well in the obstacles. The only negative issue I had was running in the sand and gravel it seemed the cuff around the ankle flexed so much that it was an easy target for the flying sand and gravel. I will try lacing them different to see if that helps. 4/6/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by OK Shoe That Had Great Marketing First run with them side ripped open. Always stopping to clean them out because of little rocks coming through the water drainage holes. 4/14/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing for OCR Races I used these at Tough Mudder at Glen Helen Parkway. A sandy, Muddy with crazy stop hills. While everyone was crawling on their hands and knees on these hills I found myself running past them even on the steepest of hills. When it came to scaling walls I found these shoes to handle them quite well. When it came to the mud I actually enjoyed going through it with these shoes instead of around because the drainage was perfect. My shoe's didn't feel heavy and I could keep sprinting. No soggy shoes whatsoever. The only complaint I had on these shoes were when it came to a slicked wall type obstacle. My shoes would be slipping from under me. Though once I got to an obstacle called Everest (Glorified halfpipe) I ran up the wall in one shot with ease. So I wasn't sure if it was the shoe or the actual slickness on the wall. I was extremely grateful for these shoes and would recommend them to anyone who run these races. You won't regret it! 4/7/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Awesome Quite simply the best mud shoe I have ever worn on a trail, however, I like them in the gym too! This shoe is so comfortable and has just owned everything I have thrown at it and asked for more. I recommend these to not only people running races but people working out in the gym. 4/10/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shoe did it's job I bought this shoe to compete in the Vegas Spartan Super. I wore it on a 7 miles trail run where it was less comfortable than my normal shoe. The following weekend I wore it in my 1st Spartan Super. I was able to complete all 21 Obstacles: rope/wall climbs, mud pits, etc... The shoe did it's job. 4/9/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great OCR shoe. Handled six mile OCR very well. Shed water as advertised, remained light and provided great traction in heavy mud and wet obstacles. Didn't get to ascend a rope, but otherwise this shoe lived up to the hype. I recommend running I them several times to get your heel used to the slightly less cushioned shoe. I developed a blister on both feet the first run, but treated it normally and didn't have any issue come race time. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally Have Them! After much anticipation, and then having to send them back because they run big, and then having to wait for more to be in stock...I've finally received them! I've only been able to wear them once and I like what I'm experiencing. I'll be taking them to the trails and then to Tough Mudder in May! 4/8/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spartan worthy Preordered these new AT Supers and wore them in the Charlotte Spartan Sprint within a few days of receiving. Very light weight and performed on the course as advertised. Outstanding traction up and down hills and through mud trails. Shoes drained quickly coming out of water obstacles and never felt heavy. The extra gripping on the peg wall and ropes was a welcome boost. These are excellent OC shoes, definitely recommend. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great obstacle course shoe These shoes are exactly what they are intended for. The design is perfect for any obstacle you may come up too. They are very light and even after getting them wet due to quick drying and drainage from the h2o drain holes. The soles are very aggressive and you benefit greatly on slick surfaces unlike wearing regular running shoes with a slick sole. These shoes will increase my time and my ability to complete obstacles much easier. 3/30/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by AROO!!! Overall the shoes are great! When i first got them i was amazed by how light they are. They seem sturdy but only time will tell. Only thing negative i say about them would be that i am unable to wear my ancle socks due to the fact that the shoe eats the back of my foot if not protected fully by a sock. Other than that i love these shoes and cant wait till my first race in them! AROO, AROO AROO!!!! 4/2/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Shoe This shoe lived up to its hype in both performance and comfort, I am extremely impressed with this shoe. I purchased it only days before the Charlotte Spartan Sprint so I only got in one 5 mile trail run prior to the race, so I did not have much time to "break" the shoe in. The shoe performed unbelievably well in the very muddy race. One thing I noticed the most, beside the incredible traction, was the shoe's stability. It allowed me to run as fast as I wanted to in all terrain, especially the muddy descents. On the shoe itself, it does run a tad narrow, but having a narrow foot I was very pleased with the size. There is plenty of room in the top box and as I mentioned before the traction was amazing. I own three other trail running shoes and I can easily say this shoe outperformed all of them in traction, drainage, comfort and stability. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone who competes in obstacle course races, whether you are a competitive or recreational racer. 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great OCR shoe Great shoe for OCR's. Worked well in rope climb, transverse wall and running. Nevada Super was lacking on the mud part. Hope to discover the grip at the Colorado Military Sprint. They are a bit high dollar but well worth the money I feel. 4/9/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by good, but needs tweaks Overall the shoe was great and performed as advertised. It is slightly too long for the size and needs to be modified there. The tongue has small holes in it that let in small rocks when I went through mud. They need to close off the holes and attach the tongue to the rest of the shoe through most of the length. Mud grip/traction was supurb, no slipping even in muddy water. 4/2/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shoe in the water and mud I rarely leave reviews, but thought I could help someone by reading this. I ran the Vegas spartan with the shoe. I ran 5 desert runs with the shoe in training before the race in rocky terrain. You do feel the rocks under your feet but not enough to be really bothered. The shoe worked great on my training days during the 5 runs I had them. However on race day there were several sand hills in which my shoes and socks filled with sand not sure if that was the cause but I started to get heel blisters on each foot around mile 2. I ran 6 more miles and had severe blisters at the end in which I have never had before. The shoe was great in the mud and water obstacle, drained very quickly. The shoe is long and narrow and I normally always wear a size nine but once I received the size 9 it was to long so I had to order another pair and have them overnighted in size 8.5 which fit fine. All in all maybe not the best shoe for mostly desert sand running but for muddy courses it would be great. I am just not sure why I had such bad blisters from the shoe. 4/8/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by As described This shoe has great treads for trail running. I completed the Vegas Super and it held up nicely. It also cleaned up well. The only downside is that there is not much cushion, so if you have knew or IT Band issues, you may want to wear orthodics. 4/8/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good overall, needs broken in Don't run these shoes cold. I did the Las Vegas Super Spartan with them after receiving them a few days earlier. Major heel blisters by mile 5, and I very rarely get blisters on my feet. They run a half size large in men's, and I kept having to tighten them like crazy on-course. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth every penny I got this shoe for my Ocr. I've done one zombie race and they worked better then expected the draining is the best part of the shoe. After getting wet my shoe had little to no water in 4 steps. The grip that the shoe give on walls and in dirt out match any other shoe I have raced in. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this show!!! I wore this shoe for the Vegas Spartan. Worked well on the rocks, dirt hills and the shoe drained well in the water. I had great traction on all the train I faced on the course. I can't wait to wear them for the Monterey Beast!! 4/8/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by All Terrain Super I have used this shoe twice since I have bought them and nothing but good things to say about it. I can't wait to use them for the Miami Spartan Race on April 12th. Only one thing this is supposedly the All Terrain Super with better cushioning to run with in longer distances. I do like my shoes light but just a little bit more cushioning on this shoe and it will be the perfect shoe. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by These shoes are designed specifically for obstacle/all terrain use. They live up to that expectation. 4/11/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Light I have not had these shoes for very long and it is hard to right a review. What i can tell you is they are comfortable and light. I can't wait to really try them in May for my Spartan Sprint. 4/9/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing product!! I am an avid spartan racer and decided to do an elite season pass this year. I have always struggled to find shoes that would keep up with what you need in OCRs until now. This is the first shoe that actually does exactly what it says and everything you could ask for in OCR. I liked them so much I ordered my second pair after the very first race I wore them for. 4/2/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what you need for a mud run Shoes worked great in my first spartan sprint. You need to wear them in a bit to avoid blisters. Really felt a difference running up hills while others slipped, light weight comin out of mud and water. Only negative is the drain holes at the toes get stuck with mud so it drains out the sides and tongue area. Great shoes. Great purchase. Will buy again if these ever get to worn down. 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product Received shoes fast opened look great. Great design rope grips and wall grips water canals. Underside will give great traction. Laces don't look very sturdy for such hi end shoes also was not able to obtain 13w had to settle for 13. 4/7/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not for wide feet! I like the shoes except they are not a wide and you guys (Reebok) should step up and start making a true wide series of shoe for all those like me who have wide feet and need someone to make use shoes too!!!!!! They do everything you said but they hurt my feet because they are to narrow in the mid foot! 4/4/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Spartan Race The shoes look and feel great on your feet, however they are not able to hold up under all terrains as advertised as a Super Spartan Shoe. The soul of the shoes has began to separate after just one race. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoe I normally run with a minimalist type show with a wide toebox so I was a little worried about the room in the toe box as these look more narrow. It didn't take long to alleviate any fears I had, I think the lightweight and flexible construction allowed for room up front. As far as traction off road, these things were like glue, only the thickest of central Florida swamp mud slowed them down at Savage this past weekend. However the true star feature of these shoes is the water draining ability, they were completely free of water within 3 steps. The Only negative I had, and it was small, was the fact that the tongue wasn't secured and seemed to slide down to the side at one point. However it is such a thin tongue it was almost unnoticeable, and could probably be fixed by running the laces through the top of the tongue somehow. Over all I would buy them again and have no regrets whatsoever.... BUY THEM BEFORE THEY SELL OUT!!! 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worth it plus upgrades I purchased my All Terrain Supers about 2 weeks before I had a 7.1 mile Obsticle Race. First thing I noticed when I put them on is the is basically no support on the heel or planter of the foot. Just felt really flat to me. So before the race I just went out and got some generic soles for them and it felt 100% better. During the race I put them through a pretty good amount of torturous situations. In the mud I was cutting side to side pretty hard and never lost traction. We went through water quite a bit for obsticles and even if I just found a swamp area I'd just go running through it. The water ports drain just the way they are supposed to and helped with not being a heavy wet shoe the rest of the race. Speaking of the weight, they are super light weight. I though the delivery man brought me an empty box when I got them. The toe grips for wall climbing are useless though. Maybe it was because the wooden wall was wet or something but it really shouldn't be a selling point for me. Overall I think they are a great shoe to have if you enjoy doing obsticle racing. 4/6/14

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not satisfied The only thing that I liked about them was the inside tread. The thing that I disliked the most was the tongue was too narrow. 4/8/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great traction I have used many brands of trail shoes for obstacle races and these were great. The traction was great. The water drained well and they were very light. I would buy again...... 4/7/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by good product for what it is designed for. I like the shoe but it is way too big size wise. You should offer this shoe in a smaller men's size since they run very big. I should say long. I bought the smallest size 7 and it seems I need a smaller size you don't make. 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe! I ran a Spartan race in the desert of Las Vegas in them this last weekend and they worked out great! 4/8/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spartan Race here I go! AROO! Very comfortable and light! Can't wait to use them on race day awesome job guys. Love the design on them. 4/8/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Can mud with these bad boys! I was looking for a light trail, XC shoe. When I heard about this specific model, with features designed for obstacle races, I was sold in an instant. But it also placed a lot of expectations on the shoe... Overall, it is an amazing piece of design and engineering. The tongue feels a bit cheap, but they are very comfortable right out of the box. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable Shoes Training for a Super Spartan in May. I've run multiple obstacles races and these look like the best shoes I've had to date. They are very comfortable. Can't wait to see the drainage holes work! 4/6/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good shoes, but it slide in wet rocks, Very confortable, light shoes, it drys very quickly, but in wet rocks and wet wood tables (wood walls) the shoes slides (slips) a lot. 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great, super lightweight grippy shoe. Just did my first trail run and these shoes did not disappoint one bit. Awesome grip and what I like is that the lugs are not huge. A friend of mine had the Inov-8 XTalon 212 and he kept getting stuck on several parts of the race. Overall, great shoe. My next race will be a Super Spartan which will be a true test for this shoe. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe for a Spartan Race This shoe is exactly what they say it is, great for training and running a Spartan Race. I wouldn't buy it to wear as an everyday shoe, but for climbing, running on dirt, rocks, sand, mud or any other obstacle race type terrain, it can't be beat. My feet and legs felt a huge difference when compared to other shoes I've used. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just ran the reebok Vegas super spartan doing 9.2 miles through the mud and sand and water. The dryed quick and did not hold any water weight!!! Love my new shoes 4/6/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by Overall a good shoe for it's purpose, but lacking. The shoe does a lot of what it's designed to do very well. What it doesn't do is give you any traction on walls. Period. There is zero grip on smooth surfaces likes rocks, wood and painted walls. That caused a loss of a full star, afterall, this is an obstacle racing shoe. The overall fit is decent, but they seem to run slightly different in sizing than Crossfit Nanos or other similar shoes. I wear an 11 in Nanos and find them comfortable and not overly big, but these feel too large in an 11. However, I felt squeezed in the 10.5, to the point where it would be painful after your foot starts to swell mid race. On top of that, the lacing system needs to be improved, A LOT. They do not feel tied on very well, even when tight, since the laces at the bottom of the tongue do not seem to cinch tight enough. The lace area at the bottom of the tongue buckles up some, which creates an opening where small rocks and gravel can enter, and boy do they. After the first couple miles of the Super Spartan in Miami recently, I was dealing with multiple rocks in each shoe. The tongue also shifts quite a bit as well, which alters the fit as you run. Not only will you feel rocks in your shoes, you'll feel every one of them UNDER your shoe as well. They transfer the ground feel like a true minimalist shoe and you know what you're running on. While not completely uncomfortable, 8+ miles of feeling every rock takes it's toll. There needs to a stiffer section in the sole around the arch to make this less of an issue. I talked to a number of other racers at the Super Spartan and the issues seemed to be consistent, lacing is terrible, rocks get in, and there is ZERO smooth surface traction, making incline walls and stomp hops more difficult that other shoes. The water drains are excellent and the shoe dries/drains very quickly. Watching water squirt out of the drains meer steps after leaving a water obstacle is awesome. It makes the shoe much better to run in that traditional shoes since there is no squishing, sloshing or heavy shoe feel. They also seem very durable. After 2 races totaling almost 16 miles they have been hosed off and dired and still look new. I'll continue to use them, however, without some needed modifcations I would not purchase another pair. 4/15/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe I used them in a Spartan Super and after washing the mud of they still look brand new. Comfortable after 8+ miles of running in the Nevada desert. 4/6/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by its really light its great for a mud run it fells very light to run 4/8/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the shoes, a bit large (size 10)and I try to order a smaller size and I could not. Also I order other pair for the sprint (sizes 9.5) and those have no room at all on my feet. I still love the shoes for the race . I did not give it a 5 just because the sizes diferance if not they are a 5 4/1/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall great product, it does rub my ankle a little and it is more narrow than my Nano's. In a perfect world they would fit like my Nano's. 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by The perfect shoe for obstacle races. As advertised. Went through tons of mud and the shoes stayed light. Able to stay on my feet in slippery conditions Cleaned up great and ready for a spartan super. 4/5/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great durable shoe. Fully expect it to do great for it's intended purpose... AROO!!! 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shoe of the year candidate I know it's only Q1 of 2014 but if this shoe doesn't end up with numerous awards it'll be a conspiracy. I'm an avid obstacle course racer and this shoe has surpassed my every expectation. To my surprise it's even versatile enough for road and gym use, seems to be infused with black magic. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by needs wide sizes only issue was blister on right heel after 10 miles 4/7/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for any out doors fitness challenge If your looking for a shoe that drains water fast, grips to all terrain, and is comfy as no other, this is the shoe. I will be using it for my goruck challenge, and have been using it for months in snow, sand, water, etc. it's perfect for an off road low cut style running shoe. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Built for a Spartan Everything about this shoe it awesome. They are so cool I don't want to get them dirty, but happiness is a dirty shoe from a Spartan race! 4/5/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by All Terrain OCR Well done Reebok! This OCR sneaker was designed right! Fit well, sheds water, no mud build up and just felt good! 4/6/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome shoe! Look out spartan beast! This shoe is gonna make the spartan race fly by! The grip and feel is gonna be a huge help! Can't wait for my next race! 4/5/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by I am a fan. I am a vibrams guy so I wasn't sure I would like running in these. I have not really been in the mud but have done some good trail work and standing water to my knees. The grip and water drainage is excellent. They will get their first OCR in 2 weeks. 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well built for its purpose! Well built shoe for the Spartan Races! Excellent fit with a broke-in feel out of the box. Durable sole for heavy terrain yet very lightweight. Water channels came in play during very wet terrain at recent Spartan Sprint in Charlotte. Overall very pleased with the product. 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great trail runner OK, now down to business.... The shoes ran nice for the eight miles. Very comfortable, excellent traction when climbing up loose hills and super light!! The mid sole rock protection was awesome for running through the rough desert and its not not to stiff to make your feet hurt. The non absorbent tongue will pose problems for you though if your running through sand. The little holes in the tongue let in a bunch of sand but this can be stopped with some athletic take covering the holes, which I will be doing before my next run. The side of the shoe are not as tough as shoes with leather uppers so be careful when running through the sticks. I jabed one through the side tonight. Other than that I have no other complaints with them. I did not run through mud (as I am in the desert) but I see no problems that might arise with them in the slop. I think they will be great. All in all I am very pleased with what Reebok has accomplished here and can't wait to run these shoes in Vegas at the Super. Good running and Aroo!!!!!! 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is great for obstacle races. Ran my first spartan race in these shoes an they are by far the best shoe for this type of race. My feet felt awesome the entire race. Would definitely recommend this shoe. 4/3/14

Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the money Fantastic shoe. I've been running in older road shoes for my past OCRs. It felt great to be in some shoes with traction. Shed fluids and mud easily and after the race, came clean quickly, looking almost new. Completely worth the money. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe Got these shoes and was excited. Everything is true to nature BUT when you are walking around with them and the get wet on the bottom they tend to slip and not grip as well on smooth surfaces. Other then that they are very well built. 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought these for the soul purpose of doing a spartan race! They exceeded my expectations by a long shot! The only downfall I saw was the rope grip wasn't very grippy on the ropes. They drained very fast! I am definitely impressed! 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Spartan Ready I haven;t had the chance to run a Spartan in these yet. That will be in a couple of weeks. But they are very minimalist and I can see why they would be a good choice for a trail race. Expecting them to exceed race expectations. 3/31/14

Rated 5 out of 5 by Just ran in them and I think they're great, very comfortable, in fact more so than I thought a trail shoe would be 4/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome shoe!! CrossFitter here. Competed in the Spartan Sprint here in Charlotte on March 22 and gave these shoes a try. They are minimalist shoes but keep in mind for trail running through the mud and water this is exactly what you want. My friend had Salomon's and they were sloshing after the first couple water obstacles. This shoe was a little loose at first but after the Spartan race they were broken in and literally fit perfectly. The shoe gripped the trail like it had spikes on them, no issues going down steep mud hills or climbing hills where other people were holding on to trees for dear life. I was initially worried about spending the money for one race but I figured the cost is cheap compared to a knee or ankle injury which would be quit possible with a shoe that has no traction. Basically, the shoe was never an issue during the race and I forgot all about them, just what you want. I'm now looking at competing in the Super Spartan and can't wait to wear my new Reebok All Terrain Supers again during the race. This shoe rocks and save yourself an injury and go pick up a pair. Also, break these bad boy's in before you tackle a Spartan Race!! 3/31/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good shoe Only negative is that the back part of shoe is stiff and rubs skin sore on back of foot. Over all the shoe is light weight and has a great look! 3/31/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent all terrain shoe The all terrain shoes are an exceptional buy, they have great traction for climbing unstable surfaces, very light weight and are quite durable. 3/31/14

Rated 4 out of 5 by All Terrain Super's after 1 Spartan Race I was so excited to run a Spartan Race with these shoes that I may have built them up in my mind to an unreachable level. After running the Vegas Spartan Super, I have some thoughts. Overall, I liked them, but they didn't do everything I hoped. Things I liked - * They did great at shedding water and mud. There were only a couple of mud/water obstacles on the Vegas course, but the shoes never took on the extra weight of mud like old running shoes do. * The inside grips on the soles. The grips helped me get up the wet rope climb. Pinch your feet together and those grips lock you on the rope. * The cleats on the soles. I never slipped once during the whole race (unless the gravel/sand was shifting under me). The cleats also came in real handy on the traverse wall. I locked my foot on the block with the cleats and it made it real easy to shimmy across. Things I didn't like - * Way too much sand/dirt/gravel got in my shoes. I took them off 5 or more times throughout the race to empty them. However, I did notice that when I started going down hills with my feet at an angle, I got less debris in my shoes. * Rubbing & irritation. I got a lot of rubbing on my heel and outside of my little toe "knuckle". (To be totally fair, both of these issues may have been because my shoes weren't completely broken in prior to the race. The rubbing and irritation probably were and the sand in the shoe could have been unavoidable because of the nature of the Vegas course as well as the fact that my shoes weren't tied totally tight because of the irritation.) Overall, I'm happy with the shoes and glad I got them. I just hope that they're better at these two problems once I break them in further. 4/7/14
