Rated 5 out of 5 by My job requires me to walk outside in all types of weather in New England and I average 7 miles a day on mostly cement and blacktop sidewalks and streets. These are the most comfortable and durable work shoes I have ever owned. They grip the ground very well and are excellent on slippery surfaces. I am surprised how little wear the soles show after one and a half years of walking on the job. Do the math and you can see how many miles I have walked in them. I am buying a new pair now before my old pair starts to wear out and before they discontinue this style which I hope they don't. They look professional and stylish at the same time. These shoes are definitely worth buying. 6/13/13
Rated 1 out of 5 by They're JUNK! Air chambers leak I have been wearing these shoes for some time. I bought 4 more pairs a couple of months ago at a REEBOK store, (when I find something I like, I stock up!) and within one week out of the box the air chambers had cratered in the shoes. I got another pair out of the box and they only lasted about 10 days (3 wearings!) before the bottoms caved in. It's like stepping in a hole with every step. VERY POOR QUALITY! My previous ones all eventually went "flat" but it usually took 4 or 5 months. Not a week. I'm on the third pair and they're already losing their bounce. I don't weigh 400 lbs, and I don't walk on cut glass and nails. So sad that quality control has just gone out the window. 1/7/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by comfortable when new, but falls apart rapidly I walk along city streets about 2 miles per day, 4 days a week. The last 4 pairs of DMX MAX walking shoes that I bought have fallen apart after a few months. There is a serious quality control issue. The shoes are very comfortable when new, but don't last. The air bladders are the first to go, then the uppers come about from the bottoms. Poor quality. Buying them for $20 a pair at the factory outlet made it tolerable, but they are now dramatically over-priced. They're really worth about $20 per pair. 8/12/13
Rated 4 out of 5 by Most Comfortable Shoe Ever...Poor Durability I work in food service. Shoe is super comfortable especially with long days and thousands of steps, but they fall apart at 120 days (4 months). 4/16/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Quality slipping The last two times I bought these shoes the air bladder inside popped very quickly and it sounded like I was walking on Whoopee cushions. They're also much lower quality then they once were. Just not a good buy any longer. 9/1/13
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good shoe Shoes slightly too wide in heel area. D's are too tight. 2E's are just a bit too wide. I wish the shoe was available in just E. That would be perfect. All in all, the shoe is still comfortable. They cured a heel pain condition I had. That is a huge plus. 4/8/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by My back and feet love them. Jusy wish that they would make them last longer. 9/10/13
Rated 4 out of 5 by Clunkly Shoe Durable, and comfortable fit, but feels clunky for lack of a better word. 4/10/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by The toe is too pointed. This is a very nice shoe... however, when a person orders a wide or extra wide it is for a specific purpose. The toe on these shoes narrows to a point which completely takes away from the reason we order a wide or extra wide. It squishes the toes together and is very uncomfortable when walking in them. 4/3/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Like walking on cushions I love the DMX Max because of the cushioning as you walk. I can be on my feet all day and my legs don't ache a bit. This particular pair of shoes seem a little narrow through the arch and is a bit uncomfortable. I've never had this problem before, so will reorder another pair only in 4E width. 4/3/14

Rated 3 out of 5 by Very comfortable shoe, when new, and the 2E is a perfect size. Have owned 4 previous pairs. The bottom air pockets collapse in only a few months taking away from the comfort of the shoe. 4/1/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by ONE ISSUE.. TOO HEAVY FOR A WALKING PRODUCT The styling and look of the sneaker is fine. My only concern is I wanted a lite walking shoe, and the DMX Max feels too heavy for a long distance ( 3 miles or more ) walk. I wish I were near a Reebok outlet so I could have tried on different shoe types. 3/19/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by I walk approximately 16,000 steps per 8/hr shift on concrete flooring. I tried other brands and styles, but still had a lot of foot pain and fatigue even with another good well-known brand. Since I had previous experience with Rebok DMX technology I decided to try them for work. The difference was immediate, and I will never go back to others. I have alternated wearing 2 exact pairs for 7 months. I will be buying 2 more pairs soon. 10/21/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Still a reebok fan three surgeries on one foot makes it hard to find a good comfortable fit. been wearing reebok for years and still satisfied with the product. 3/17/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beyond comfortable These shoes are beyond comfortable. I have happy feet now that I have my new Reebok's. Also, I only wear white shoes, and Reebok has a wide selection to choose from. I will never buy another name brand of shoe again, Reebok will be my forever brand of shoe! 3/8/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Walk Ultra IV DMX Max - Wide 2E This pair of shoes are the best and most comfortable shoes I have had. 3/10/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional shoe This shoe is not only comfortable but is very stylish. I can wear it to work and enjoy the comfort of a sneaker while meeting the dress code of the office. No one even notices that these are sneakers. The extra support and dmx features add comfort to a day on ones feel. 2/28/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by These are my favorite shoes, unfortunately I can only find them on line and they seem to cost a bit more than when I bought them in the stores! 10/1/13
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for heavyset walkers I read somewhere that these were the best shoes for walkers who are on the heavyset side...it's hard to find good, durable shoes for walking. These have some cushioning and gives a little bounce to your step. For the price, you can't go wrong. I've tried other brands like New Balance, and was not as impressed as I am with these shoes...especially for the cost. 2/10/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Furst time I've ever purchased walking shoes. Always purchased the cross training shoes in the past. Wish I would have purchased these months ago! Very comfortable even after walking around for hours. 8/10/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best running shoes ever I run at hard surfaces and these shoes are the best I have ever had. So confortable, no knee pain or joint ache as there is an air cushion in the sole. I bought 3 pairs so I'll have these for years. 8/6/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Never had such excellent walking shoes The Quality is excellent; The price is good; I wish to have it in other colors, but there isn't (I bought it in brown; There is also in black) 2/21/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe! Had a very good chat with one your reps and he really helped me determine which shoe including style! My husband loves the fit and the look! 2/12/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must have shoe for walking I'm a mail carrier for the post office and I walk a lot everyday and these shoe are the most comfortable shoe I have walk in. They help me move with ease. 2/11/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Air bladder Blows quickly I have worn these DMX Ultras for > 8 yrs. They feel great when new. The last 4 pairs the air bladders have blown w/in 4 mos even w/ alternating 2 pairs--creating a concave forefoot sole and a "bone bruise" on the ball @ my 1st inner toe. I am not hard on my shoes and walk only on tile. I would ONLY recommend these shoes if you buy new every 3 mos or Reebok improves this recent defect. 1/1/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great walking shoes As I have grown older, my feet have spread from an E to a EE. These shoes fit nicely. I walk at least a 5K three times a week inside on a treadmill in the winter, outside in the summer. These shoes feel great. 1/24/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by The width is 1/4- inch less than the industry standard. There are no longitudinal and metacarpal arch supports. I'll return this disappointing shoe. 12/26/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by very good fit These are comfortable and have been helpful with my bad tendent in my big toe. 1/1/14
Rated 3 out of 5 by A bit heavy and tiring for normal walking I was looking for a walking shoe slightly slanted at the heel as my doctor recommended wearing those types of shoes to prevent my tendinitis from getting worse. I feel that this shoe is heavier to walk around than a regular running shoe. I suppose it's the intention to make it more durable especially if you're out there with the elements. I simply wear this at work and I get a little sore at the end of the day. 9/20/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by All day COMFORT! I have been buying 4 pairs a year and hope they never discontinue this product...the shoe never wears out! Comfort till the end! thank you 12/20/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect sturdy yet good looking shoe. would recommend for anyone who has foot problems, but wants to walk for exercise. 12/17/13
Rated 4 out of 5 by very comfortable very comfortable and this pair replaces another dmx pair from 2010. 12/1/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoes Fit Great and very comfortable. Very comfortable to walk in as well as standing on concrete floors for extended time. 11/9/13
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Only Shoe I switched to Reebok DMX Max several years ago. I use as a dress and work shoe. Will not wear any thing else no mater how worn out they are. I find or order another two pair. 9/9/13
