Rated 5 out of 5 SQUATZ! These are some of the best shoes I have ever used for front and back squats. I have also used them for deadlifts. They have more cushion than Chucks and are super flat. The toe box is, well, boxy...This makes it feel like they run a 1/2 size too big. This is an assumption on my part as I have never tried on a smaller size-darn, mail order! You'll get mixed reviews at the box but I like their "early rap video" style. The cool kids will dig 'em. 2/11/14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Dissapointed :-( I was really looking forward to these sneakers to replace my Chucks for deadlifts and squats but the foot pad is huge! There's so much space in the toe area and for people like myself with narrow feet you cant get them snug all the way around. They would be perfect if they were a bit more narrow at the toe like the chucks. The same consistent width throughout the sneaker. Theres no need for all that extra space at the toe area. Otherwise the cushion around the frame of the sneaker is great. If you have narrow feet these are not a good fit. Stick to the chucks. 2/26/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very happy I purchased these I really like these. They have a great sole so there is no slipping, good flexibility, and are supportive around the ankles when I squat. I went back and forth when trying to decide the right size. I wear a 6.5 in Pendlay Oly lifters, as well as regular shoes (heels, sandals, etc), but I wear a 7 in running shoes so, I got a 7 in these when I probably could have gotten a 6.5... C'est la vie. They're roomy in the toe like Nanos are and fit well all around. 2/26/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love! These shoes are perfect if you are looking for more support during lifting, but don't want the stiff bulky regular lifters. I have worn them during 'Elizabeth', and two other WODs. I'm not in to high top shoes, but for lifting these feel great! Especially for overhead stuff! The bottoms are harder than a reg shoe, so can not use for all workouts. Def recommend these!! 2/17/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these! Wore these today for the first time doing Sally(back squats) and my stability was great. I also did Partner Fight Gone Bad WOD. WOD had sumo deadlift high pulls, wallballs, box jumps, push press, and row for calories. They felt great during the entire WOD, especially for wallballs and box jumps. I highly recommend these. BUT, some of the reviews say they are big, the toe area is big like the Nano's but I wear an 8-1/2 and I got these in an 8 originally and they were too small. These are definitely true to size! 5/12/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shoe! I've been looking for a replacement for my Chucks since those were always too narrow. These are very comfortable and feel stable enough to do all my lifts in. The toe area is about equal to my Nano 2.0s which I love! 3/26/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THIS SHOE! I got these because I've recently gotten into powerlifting at CrossFit. These shoes are amazing! I have a wider fit and they still fit comfortably. I was worried because I always had trouble with Converse. The high ankle provides stability. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone who spends time just lifting. I don't think I'd use them during a normal WOD. I even PR'd my back squat today in them. Felt great! 1/29/14
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like the way the shoe feels on my foot, but not 100% satisfied with the shoe itself. The heel feels great but there is too much space in the toe area. I only wore the shoes once, not sure I will wear them again. I love my Nano's though! 2/18/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great looking and functional Great shoe. Looks great and is very comfy. Provides great support too. 2/22/14
Rated 1 out of 5 by These are just strange Fit just like Chucks but they looked, well... just strange. The toe shape is not for humans and they end up looking like clown shoes. The silver are really white. And more clowny. 8/25/14
